David-Muir
David Muir is an American journalist and anchor most well-known for his ABC news program World News Tonight with David Muir and for his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he is an anchor and co-anchor. The show, with its intense clips of celebrity gossip on video as well as his witty gestures have become the most watched broadcast in America. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, He was the main substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He's reported on a variety of primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones being Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He has reported on news across the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's received several Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as numerous honours and prizes from The Associated Press.
