Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actor from the United States. She made her acting debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she has been on WarGames in 1985, The Breakfast Club in 1986, and Short Circuit in 1986. Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over twenty years. Her movie career started in early 1980s when she starred in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie and also starred popular stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her debut film was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is regarded as one of high school cinema's best films. Even though the budget for this film was only $1 million, the film has grossed more than $50 millions. At the same time the actress began appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. It was a program for teenagers that started airing beginning in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she was featured. One of her most recent roles is in Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story about a female superhero where Sheedy appears in a cameo. Sheedy for her amazing performances has received numerous awards, one of which was her MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in the year 2005.
