Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and songwriter. As a child she was subjected to racial taunts by many people in America. It was during her ninth year that she started to feel more confident following her acclaim during an audition. The singer not only gained confidence because of the experience and gained experience, but also changed her career goals. In 1992, she received her degree from New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23, she started her journey in Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, at 23 years old, her movie debut was You've got mail. In the Broadway original production of Spamalot she portrayed the role of Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. The following year, she was cast as Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. Known as a singer she released her own single and an extended play. Also, she is an activist who is active for LGBT rights.
